??File Guardian is a computer security program that protects your files from being changed. File Guardian allows you to specify a list of files you want monitored and how often you want File Guardian to check these files. If File Guardian finds that one of these files has been changed when it performs this check, it will automatically restore the file to original condition. It is particularly useful on Web servers to protect your Web site from being infected with viruses or from being vandalized. It can be used in other applications where you do not want files changed. Runs on Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP/ME.When you want to change one of the protected files, you can deactivate automatic checking by File Guardian. When you reactivate automatic checking, File Guardian will report that the files have been changed. It will then give you the options of restoring the old file, having File Guardian update its records so that the new file will be protected, or ignoring the changes.
